Coach Erica Romeo

 Erica Romeo is a senior Defender at Western Connecticut State   University. She lives in Lindenhurst NY, where she played 3 years   of Varsity lacrosse and 2 years of Varsity field hockey. Erica was   senior captain for both teams. She  received Unsung hero in 2017   and 2018 for lacrosse and in 2017 for field hockey. At Westconn   Erica contributed to the schools first ever conference   championship and NCAA appearance. Her team made it to the   Sweet sixteen in the first ever appearance!

Coach Kathleeen Mackey

 Kathleen Mackey is a sophomore playing division one lacrosse   and majoring in exercise science at Gardner-Webb University in   Boiling Springs, North Carolina. Lives in Lindenhurst, New York   and went to Lindenhurst Senior High School. Played three years   varsity lacrosse and three years varsity field hockey. Named Big   South Freshman of the Week (3/2/21). Played and started 12   games for the Runnin’ Bulldogs, making 100 saves for the   season. Made the second most saves per game in the   conference at 8.33. Played travel lacrosse for three years split   between Beach Bums and Team 91.
 

Coach Jessica Wharry

 My name Jessica Wharry and the love of the game   lacrosse started for me in 2006 when I began playing for   Lindenhurst Lacrosse in middle school. I used my speed   and fell in love with being a midfielder, being on both   ends of the field. I moved up to Varsity shortly after   where I achieved all tournament in 2008, all division in   2009 and 2 time all county in 2010/2011. From there I   played at Dowling college for my freshmen year as a   midfielder but the love of the game never ended for me.

Lauren DiStefano

 I’m currently going to be a senior at Wagner college majoring in   management. 2019 NEC champion. Started every game in the 2020   and 2021 season. Earned defensive player of the week once in 2021.   I graduated from West Islip in 2018. 4 year varsity starter was on the   2015 state champion team. 3x Long Island Champion and 3x county   champion
